2000 Chevrolet S-10 LS review from North America
"Needs way more power"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
At about 63,000 miles the radiator blew.
Then a couple of thousand miles later, the valve cover gasket blew.
General comments?
I hate that I got the 4-cylinder model; it has no power at all. I put on a cold air intake, and Dynomax exhaust, and that gave it a lot more power. But still it has sorry performance, but good gas mileage.
It has a 2&3 inch drop and 16" wheels, and it still rides good. The seats are very comfortable, but the latches are broken on the passenger side, so it's all the way back or all the way forward. And the 3rd door handle breaks all the time; I have replaced it 5 times in 35,000 miles.
I wish after-market companies made more power adding parts.
