1996 Chevrolet Lumina review from North America
"The car is OK until 100,000 miles, then get rid of it"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
Wheel bearing started to go bad at 120,000 miles.
Had a fuel injector replaced at 90,000 miles.
Had it in three times in a week, and the mechanics at a dealership couldn't figure out why two of the injectors were not working correctly. This happened at 110,000 miles.
General comments?
This car was fine for the first 90,000 miles, then it was one thing after the other.
Problems with the fuel injectors constantly and started out with the check engine light coming on. I was told by mechanics to run fuel injector cleaner through it when this happened, which worked well for 6 months. Then the injector needed replacing, and now other injectors are going bad.
The wheel bearing assembly in the rear started to fall apart at 120,000 miles.
