2003 Audi TT review from Singapore
"Fast - makes others furious!"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
Wipers are making noises on the windscreen.
General comments?
Super fast VW - with a perfect classic coupe shape - despite new model and R8 having arrived.
1.8T engine is reliable and loud... and fast for a city state driving.
For handling reasons, it is faster along the roads than the equivalent 1.8T VW Golf GTI. Other (Japanese saloon) cars have tried to keep up, and almost fall off the roads on bends! (Probably says more about local drivers than the car!)
Difficult to park due to rounded bodyshape.
Cabin is all black - but suits the style.
More stylish than everyone else's SLK; and you can even stow two kiddies in the back.
Boot is surprisingly big. A very low car compared to our two SUVs we drive!
Yes - it consumes 95 petrol in a rate comparable to the performance used!!
