1991 Citroen AX GT review from UK and Ireland
"Power at its best, very fast and that's the truth"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
I bought the car back in November 2000 and have had to replace an alternator and battery, and that's it...
General comments?
This car is fast, plain and simple. When I had it was completely standard, and I got about 107mph out of it.
Now I have had the red stripe taken off, it's just black and looks good. I bought some new alloys, 5 stud 195/45, they were tough to get a hold of, but it handles a lot, lot better now.
I put on a Pipercross induction kit, and I have got 115mph out of it. Pipercross gives better bhp than K+N.
Future plans: G Max shocks, having it lowered and a Magnex full system and superchip. I'm looking at 120mph plus, wow that's scary.
The car looks good, turns heads and I love it. Beats any other Nova, Fiesta etc. Turbos will beat it just by a fragment of the mark, but it will soon catch up the booooom.
