2002 Subaru Outback Wagon review from North America
"Cool car that has comfort, value, and AWD"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
Just regular maintenance. Just changed all 4 tires.
General comments?
This is a really great car. My last car was a Ford Probe, which only lasted me 6 months.
So I went car shopping, and my best friend recommended a Subaru, as he had one as a rental when he went away on vacation, and he loved it so much he bought one of his own. I could only afford a used one, and the only one I could find had high mileage, and I could not find other used with lower mileage, so I gave this one a try, and so far it still drives like a brand new one.
As a matter of fact my parents have a Mercedes E-Class, and driving this Subaru is like driving that car. It has the same engine power and pickup, comfort, technology, leather seats, but what my car has that the Mercedes doesn't have is ALL-WHEEL-DRIVE.
What an amazing car. It always gets me to where I need to go. It's reliable, strong, and it rides quiet. I can fold the back seats for lots of cargo room for all my papers and files for business meetings. Also lots of room for luggage for vacations. Because of AWD it handles snow like nothing, and has a lot of power going up hills.
