1996 Dodge Avenger ES Coupe review from North America
"Lemon"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
I have had to replace the transmission twice, at 60,000 miles and at 68,000 miles, and it still doesn't shift right.
I have replaced at least 7 sensors, and just found out I need to replace another.
I had to replace the starter.
I have gone through 8 batteries.
I have replaced the battery cables.
I have replaced the head lamps.
I have replaced the struts.
I have changed the brake pads more than usual.
I have changed all four rotors.
I have replaced 6 sets of door handles.
I just replaced the distributor.
I just replaced the crank shaft sensor.
General comments?
I will never own another Dodge, even if it was free!!!
