1996 Acura TL 3.2 review from North America

ABS and TCS lights stay on all the time while driving. (Neither system is working but the regular braking is fine so I have not had them looked at.) The stock CD Player no longer works but in the generation of the Ipod it really is not a big deal. Front seats are beginning to show wear, but what can you expect from 12 years of heavy use. Door handles are "foil wrapped" and have begun to unwrap. The only "real" problem has been the ABS/TCS system, and I bought the car with that issue already (it occured before I was the owner). 40k miles later and nothing has failed me.

Low end power is great. From 0-20 and especially 20-70 it just leaps out of the gate like a racehorse. Handles pretty well though it does have a little wider turning radius than I expected. The power steering almost feels like too much... sometimes you feel like you oversteer though you are right on track. You get used to it. The stock speakers are still sounding great after 12 years. It has never failed to start on me even in the worst of weather. It gets into negative temps here quite often in the winter. Heating and cooling system are extra cold in the summer and extra warm in the winter. Rides VERY comfortably and smoothly. Overall just and amazing car. Be aware that repair costs are somewhat high (parts for this baby are expensive) but... when you never have to get any work done on it who cares. It all evens out.
