1996 Pontiac Trans Sport review from Argentina
"GM Minivans 4 Life!!!"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
Battery at 130.000 kms.
Water pump at 145.000 kms.
Shocks and struts at 144.000 kms.
Another water pump at 149.000 kms. (i am guessing the other water pump was defective)
Intake manifold gasket at 151.700 kms.
We use this van as a long trip van, we have taken it on several 3000-5000 kilometer trips and we have found that it's the most comfortable van ever! it's made with great materials and handles like it's on rails compared to any other minivan I've ever drove, we also put in a K&N air filter and now it's also full of power and great fuel economy it's sad they had to quit making them in the US and that crossovers are slowly gonna kill minivans off.
I also own a '94 Mercury Villager and it's a great minivan also, but it's never as good as a GM Minivan!
General comments?
Great handling minivan.
Great power (180 hp and 205 ft. lbs of torque stock! + K&N Air filter)
Awsome interior.
Just a overall awsome minivan!
