2000 Hyundai Elantra GLS review from North America

It started when I had my air conditioner on and my lights would dim down pretty bad.

So I brought it in and they said they did an electrical check on it and nothing was wrong.

After that my car begin to die on me.

Well I checked my battery cables and when they checked out my car they forgot to tighten the clamps on my cables to the battery post.

So we tightened the cables and checked the battery to make sure it was still charged and had plenty of fluid and it did.

About 2 weeks went by and my car begin to die again. Just recently on my way home from work during rush hour on an extremely busy road my car died when I was slowing down with traffic. It did start back up and I eventually made it home safely but only after it died 2 more times.

I called the dealer from where I bought my car and set up an appointment to bring it back in and mentioned to them that if it was going to be longer than a day job that I would need a rent or loan car. The technician informed me that Hyundai does not do rent or loan cars.

So not only now does my car basically have not reliability but also I am stuck with out a vehicle for what ever length of time it takes for them to fix the problem that my car has. So I will have to try and find rides to work and school.
