1986 Chevrolet Sprint review from North America
"Best commuter car ever made"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
At 140,000 miles the timing belt gave out (no engine damage otherwise), but since I had acquired a wrecked Sprint with 20 miles on a rebuild, I installed the new engine, and clutch, that was in it. The brakes have been done twice.
General comments?
I am 6ft, 250lbs and am perfectly comfortable in this car.
This sucker also gets me to work and back (60 miles, round trip per day) for about $16 a week.
I love this car and will continue to repair it as needed till it or I die.
