1998 Dodge Dakota Sport 4+2 review from North America
"Poor choice for anyone unless you can afford to have a mechanic live in your home"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
15k - power steering pressure lines at the rack blew apart on the highway and lost all fluid at high speed, burnt up rack and pinion, pump, lines.
22k - transmission failure set the truck in the shop for a rebuild for two weeks (transmission techs very busy at Dodge stores).
28k - transmission fails again, now new unit needed.
List too long to put on this list, let's just say nine transmissions ago Dodge had the option to buy back, but said (we think it is now fixed and will not take back on any terms).
Sued for lemon law and won.
