1992 Holden Commodore VP SS review from Australia and New Zealand
"Power to burn, shame about the parts"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
Replaced steering rack three times.
Coolant leak into cabin.
Rear door rubber collapsed, making the window inoperable.
Water pump failed.
Tachometer failed.
Temperature gauge intermittently inaccurate.
General comments?
Brilliant performance in a straight line. Excellent handling apart from camber changes in the rear suspension.
Fantastic Aussie V8 sound.
Comfortable interior.
Disappointing that accessories are occasionally unreliable, but the core product is solid.
