2000 Chevrolet Metro Coupe review from North America
"The car takes me where I need to go"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
When I first bought the car:
1 - The back seats rattled a lot when the car was moving.
2 - The fuel gauge did not operate.
3 - The glove compartment would open up during the trip if it wasn't slammed shut.
I got number 1 and 2 fixed right after I bought it.
I've lived with number 3 since I never go into the glove compartment and can just slam the thing shut if I have to.
General comments?
I like my Metro. It takes me to where I want to go and doesn't take up much space. I rarely have passengers or much cargo, so there is plenty of space.
This is a good car for a patient, driver who doesn't mind hearing others sound their horns. If you plan ahead and give yourself an extra ten minutes, you'll never feel rushed.
