1987 Renault 11 Broadway review from UK and Ireland
"Low performance, low cost car"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
Lights sometimes failed.
Fuel pump leaked oil from a breather hole.
Door handles broke if forced.
Indicators regularly failed.
Wheel bearings won't last long if driven hard.
General comments?
Although this car had many faults it did only cost me £250 and was the economy model.
It was very low geared which meant traveling at anything over 60 was really revving the engine but it did give it a lot of pulling power in the low gears and it would wheel spin like it was on ice.
Although handling was very poor due to the very sloppy suspension.

It goes really fast, it's really cheap, it beats Opel/Chevy Corsas.. |
