2001 Dodge Ram Pickup SLT review from North America
"Beware: Chrysler makes unreliable, poorly engineered vehicles"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
Transmission went out at 120 miles.
Engine has no power.
General comments?
The transmission started lurching through 2nd gear at 400 miles. Its been taken to the dealer three times with no problem found. I had a 4 cyl engine in the vehicle I owned before this and it pulled better and ran stronger. You would think that a engine that's getting almost 10 miles to the gallon should at least have some balls.
WARNING: PAY THE EXTRA COUPLE THOUSAND DOLLARS FOR A COMPETING MANUFACTURERS TRUCK. It will save you tons of time and a lot of money in the long run.
