1999 Hyundai Elantra review from North America
"Great warranty, however, didn't expect to have to use it this quickly"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
At 33,000 miles had to have the transmission replaced. Took a week to get the car back, however, they did provide a loaner.
While the car was in the shop they said the front right wheel bearing needed to be replaced. That part took the shop 3 weeks to get it.
When I came in to have the wheel bearing replaced, they said the left front wheel needed replacement also. That took two more weeks of waiting. After this wheel bearing was replaced, had to bring the car back in for a rubbing sound. The wheel bearing needed to be adjusted.
Great warranty, I just didn't expect to have to use it this quickly. Now the car is making sounds like it is an aircraft taking off when I accelerate.
