1971 Ford Falcon XY review from Australia and New Zealand
"A excellent buy for a first car, reliable and built like a tank"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
I had some trouble with the radiator and cooling system. The thermostat housing was corroded and had to be replaced. I ran it without a thermostat before I sold it, it run cool as it should.
The only other trouble I had was with the electrics because of a mistake an auto electrian made. All the indicator system burnt out and I had to replace the wiring harness.
General comments?
I loved this car, it was a classic. I wish to buy another when I get enough money. It was easy to drive with the column shift three speed gear box and the steering was like you are driving a car with power steering.
