1995 Chevrolet Camaro Z28 review from North America
"A high-performance road rocket"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
Air Pump went bad (and subsequently had refund due to recall campaign)
General comments?
This car is a beast. Out of the box it's got approx 260 rear-wheel horsepower, with about $500USD simple mods I'm up closer to 300.
The car suffers from minor irritating rattles and shakes in the dash - but these are well known and easily dealt with.
The handling is really good, and can be made easily better with simple bolt-on parts. Traction at wide open throttle could be better, but you've got a lot of power to deal with.
As a commuter car (As I've used this for, mostly) you'll have to deal with road noise and sometimes kidney-bruising ride. Traction in the wet can be a problem, but is alleviated with a good set of all-weather tires.
The T-Tops are a must have - nothing like cruising in a nice fast car with the tops out... without the hassle of convertible tops.
I love this car.
