1989 Volkswagen Beetle review from Sweden
"If cheap, buy one"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
Transmission failure.
Minor repairs to the lights.
Heating: new insulation.
General comments?
Excellent first car! You won't be tempted to do a suicide overtake with the small engine. But since most are quite old nowadays, quite a few repairs must be accounted for before buying one.
Bloody cold in the winter, even after new insulation for heating.
