1993 Eagle Vision TSi review from North America
"Thank goodness they don't make these anymore!!"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
The crank-shaft sensor went out at 90,000 miles.
There is some kind of electrical problem, I have no clue what it is: the interior lights flash on and off, or just stay on, but it's not the door buttons.
The fog lights won't work, and neither will the security light that will dim the car dash and turn all the lights on at once.
The power locks will not work when the interior lights are on, or sometimes not at all.
The traction control will not work. They want $600 more (after I gave them $1200) to search for the problem. I have also been told it may be a bad ground.
I unplug my interior light fuse when the car is off to prevent the battery dying. This all happened at the same time as the crank-shaft sensor.
The paint is coming off, but Dodge only replaces paint before 6 years.
Sometimes, it won't idle right when it is at a stop, but they can't find a problem.
The anti-lock brake light will stay on.
General comments?
This is a great grandma's sports car, if you trade it in before 60k. Very fast! Roomy, and with all the options it makes a great car if you have the cash to put into it. I have talked to other owners who say their biggest problem is the crank shaft sensor.
