1984 Isuzu Trooper review from North America
"The most beautifully engineered SUV to crawl the planet"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
Our family has had no problems, failures, or annoyances with the car.
General comments?
My parents bought the car brand new and drove it everyday for 17 years. I have recently inherited the car and throughout its life we have had no problems or failures result from driving it. The engine is greatly under powered and body roll is apparent. Besides these general faults, putting the 4 speed into 4Low, the Trooper can climb and conquer any trail its put to. Everything within the drive train is stock (including clutch) and it still runs solid.
