1980 Holden Gemini SL review from Australia and New Zealand
"Geminis are a fantastic first car for any new buyers"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
My Gemini leaks. Not only in the boot when it rains, but in the front passenger side and drivers side. And not just a few drops, puddles can develop and your shoes can get very wet if driving in very strong rain. It's very funny.
Not very fast on the take offs.
Because they tend to leak a lot, Geminis can get a lot of rust.
General comments?
Very tough little aussie car. I nearly accidently cooked my little engine and it is still going.
I use penrite oil and top quality products in my car, and it seems to never break down or have any major problems.
Very hassle free.
Very cheap to run.
Easy to drive.
