1983 Porsche 944 review from Russia
"Easy and fun to drive"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
Gearbox mount was broken.
Brake discs were replaced.
Right engine mount was replaced.
Gearbox was re-builded (3-4 gear was stuck).
Starter was replaced.
Gearbox dumpers was replaced.
General comments?
Car is as hard as a rock, even in extreme conditions of use (bad roads, racing, problems with quality of service).
Cornering is superb. Even in comparison with the 911. I have tried many sport cars, this is the best for hard corners (at least for me).
Engine is a little under-powered at performance, but the torque is superb too (I even start from 3th gear at winter).
