1983 Holden Commodore VH SLX review from Australia and New Zealand
"A real head turner"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
Blew a diff because of the gearbox.
Blew a gearbox.
Steering rack is shot.
Ignition module went.
Fuel pump and lines broke.
Ignition switch.
Tacho stopped.
General comments?
Great first car.
The 253 engine is not a quick one and it's on gas so even slower, but still quicker than the six cylinder, reliable.
It's been lowered as much as possible and therefore handles great.
Sounds wicked with the sports exhaust.
A real head turner, new paint, tinted, lowered, mags and an absolute beast of a stereo now...
