1996 Dodge Grand Caravan SE review from North America
"A beast of a vehicle covered in a pretty skin"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
Well, I'm not sure where to begin. The vehicle was great for the first 70,000 miles. It began with a bad battery.
Then the transmission of course. That had to be completely replaced along with the main oil seal.
Third was the front right strut and sway bar ends.
Fourth was the electrical problems - wipers, fan motor switch, airbag light stayed on and a small fire in the headlight switch.
Next was the fuel pump which had to be replaced.
And finally the third transmission.
General comments?
A very comfortable car that is completely unreliable.
Too expensive to continue to own.
Never, ever will buy any vehicle associated with Chrysler.
