1989 Ford Tempo GL review from North America
"It is a piece of antiquated equipment"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
Transmission shifting hard.
Heater hose blown out.
Thermostat out.
Alignment bad.
It eats tires real fast.
Antifreeze in the floor boards.
No adjustment screws for the headlights.
Alternator.
Solenoid.
Uses a lot of oil.
Gas tank leaks.
Interior feels sticky.
Shocks are gone.
General comments?
I would never buy another Ford - Every Ford I have ever owned has fallen apart on me in some form or another and this one right now with all the problems it has is not good on my health with the antifreeze leaking into my floorboards.
