1995 Chevrolet S-10 LS review from North America
"Extremely good truck"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
The heater core developed a small leak when I first got it. Dealer fixed it for free. Other than that, nothing went wrong.
General comments?
I bought new, and have never had to fix anything on it. The original tires lasted 90,000 miles! All equipment (clutch, brakes, etc) is original and works well.
Driving it is like driving a Buick - very quiet and cushy. Not like my 1970 Dodge truck, which was like driving an old schoolbus with a bad muffler. (Note: the 1970 Dodge has the power steering valve mounted on the outside of the frame by the left wheel - factory installed that way!!! So every time you make a sharp left turn, the tire shreds into the valve. I went to a junkyard and got a manual streering arm and removed the power setup. Took lots of muscle to drive that pig).
The driver's seat foam wore out too quickly and cost too much to replace. That is my only complaint.
