1991 Geo Prizm Hatchback review from North America
"A solid little car with a great engine"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
The headliner was hanging down when I got it.
The tailgate was leaking quite badly when I got it. I've got it down to a slow drip now.
The clutch slips and goes into 2nd gear very hard on cold days.
The door handles are very cheap plastic. The previous owner had to replace them before I picked it up.
The red paint oxidizes continuously.
The A/C needed a recharge.
General comments?
This car has a great Toyota engine. Plenty of pep and still not burning or leaking any oil at 122,000. I get about 36mpg.
Very comfortable seats.
The dome light is very dim.
The car's exterior appears to not have been very well cared for, but still there is next to no rust, even underneath.
