1983 Ford Sierra Ghia review from UK and Ireland
"A rare(ish) motorway cruiser"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
The radiator blew on the way home from buying it, the clutch wasn't clearing properly and needed to be replaced, and the exhausts both snapped at the downpipe.
Rust finally killed it, more's the pity.
The sunroof jammed at a jaunty angle just as the rain started!
General comments?
It was an excellent car, all the Ghia gizmos worked (even the crazy warning light cluster).
It went very well with the smooth carburated V6 engine and sounded great, the gearing was a bit tall though.
Fuel economy was reasonable for the engine size, mid thirties on a long run.
