1983 Holden Commodore SLE review from Australia and New Zealand
"Beautiful car but crap quality"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
Everything in the car has been replaced or rebuilt, this is typical Holden rubbish that breaks down and needs to be replaced.
You name a problem and it has been fixed.
The car paint faded, but has been re-sprayed blue over silver.
The car chews gas and fuel due to the fuel injection and mild bore of the motor.
General comments?
This is an awesome looking car.
This would have to be one of the best Commodores driving on the road.
The interior and exterior are immaculate.
Inside is the blue velour interior which is spotless.
The car looks as though it has come out of the showroom, with a dual exhaust, tinted windows and lowered suspension.
This hammers and has a peak power output of a five litre.
Outruns all 253 motors and some five litres.
