1989 Honda Civic 55x Super Shuttle review from Australia and New Zealand
"A lemon that left me with a bitter taste in my mouth"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
Unknown electrical problem that meant the ignition would randomly fail on some days.
One indicator didn't work some of the time.
Head gasket blew after 1000 km of use, at only 124,000 kilometres.
General comments?
I bought the car cheaply, and it performed well and seemed to be a good deal.
However, the head gasket blew, leading me to suspect it had been treated badly by the previous owner.
The quoted cost of repair was well above the price I paid for it so I had to write it off.
