1992 Volkswagen Jetta GX review from UK and Ireland
"A good all round family car and/or sporty sedan"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
The only problems were a squeaky fanbelt, a broken front suspension spring and the speedometer cable (original one) is about to go.
General comments?
The car is quite nippy with an excellent kickdown and the fuel economy is quite suprising. I have travelled to Donegal and back with a roof rack, 5 people and a full boot. Still managed to reach over 90mph. I got about 45 mpg. The steering is quite heavy so get PAS.
