1989 Holden Commodore VL review from Australia and New Zealand
"Great performing car for a very low price"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
Nothing has gone wrong with this car as long as I have owned it.
Except the back suspension is a bit soft and needs to be replaced.
It just keeps going and going.
General comments?
This car is very quick off the mark and acceleration is superb.
The auomatic transmission peforms best when I drive it like a manual, it doesn't rev out very much in first gear and that's where plenty of good acceleration is.
It handles very good but needs new suspension at the rear.
The standard stereo and speakers in my Berlina are pretty bad so a new stereo is definitely on the way.
Don't underestimate a VL Commodore.
Seats are comfie and the steering is good.
