1998 Dodge Intrepid Base Sedan review from North America
"One stunning piece of machinery"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
Weatherstrip around the rear left door is constantly out of place.
Misaligned rear right door won't shut like the others.
Rear visibility takes some time getting used to.
Lots of road noise on the highway.
Soft paint chips easily from everyday driving.
General comments?
My Dodge is worth $6,600 price tag that I paid.
It is reliable, roomy, great on gas at 24mpg in mixed driving.
16 inch stock steel rims really make a difference in looks compared to 15's.
Handles curves and pot-holes great.
Stereo sound is adequate, but can be better.
I also find it stunning to look at every single day.
Beautiful yet functional interior.
The trunk is big enough to please a mob boss.
Comfortable seating even in the rear.
