1992 Eagle Talon Base review from North America
"Don't judge a book by its cover, but more or less the content/condition of the motor!"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
To start, 2 x rotors, brakes, emergency brake, calipers, seat belt, air conditioning, door handle, exhaust end, exhaust flex pipe, hoses, thermostat, and etc. outside.
Top end of motor went out at 89000. Bottom end of motor 200 miles later.
Clutch, transmission, water pump, timing belt, 3000 miles later.
Bad luck on a good looking lemon, not any more.
General comments?
This car looked hot, but it didn't run hot when I got her home from the used dealer.
It had been beat on and it showed, so I dropped in a new 2.0 DOHC AMG Cylon Mitsubishi motor which added 25-35 hp.
Even though it was non-turbo, I love driving it, but if I had to do it all over again, I would have bought one new, brand new, & then improved it!!!
