1997 Ford Scorpio TD Ultima review from UK and Ireland
"A luxury quite sporty diesel, should have been american"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
Two days after buying it the head gasket blew, £800 for a new one.
The anti-roll bar link broke.
General comments?
A very good economical car allround.
Not bad performance for the 2500cc turbo. although from 40 to 80 could be better for overtaking.
Handling is great, although it rolls a little but very predictable.
Cabin is fully loaded, plenty to play with, A/C climate control, elec' seats, mirrors, everything, even an autodim rear mirror.
