1993 Toyota Pickup review from North America
"If you want a small truck, there is no better choice"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
The seat belts do not retract very well.
The brakes needed to be replaced at 140,000 miles.
After using it for fairly heavy loads, the rear springs are starting to sag a little.
The door locks are getting very worn, and it is hard to use the key to lock or unlock them.
The plastic trim around the door locks on both sides failed right after purchase.
General comments?
Overall this has been a typical Toyota vehicle. FANTASTIC. It is the third Toyota pickup that I have owned, and the only real fault I can think of is that it just doesn't wear out quick enough. I would like to get a new truck, but there is no reason to get rid of this one yet. It starts and runs flawlessly, almost no change from new. I expect it easily to last at least another 200,000 miles.
