1989 Ford Granada Ghia review from UK and Ireland
"A quick, luxurious, bruiser cruiser"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
Power steering leaking.
Rear shocks need replacing.
Some niggily dash lights blew, rear window switch light blew, very odd intermittent auxilary warning light problem, it comes on when outside is cold!
When you put your foot down on the accelerator from stationary, it seems as though the engine falters very slightly, still no better after changing plugs, leads, distributer cap and rotor arm, and I've had the fuel injection cleaned out as well. I have learnt to live with this minor problem as I'm not going to spend any more money on the car as I only paid 300 well spent pounds to buy it!
General comments?
Fast luxurious boat of a car, would like to purchase a Scorpio.
Masses of boot space.
Fuel consumption is a big comparison to the 1.6 diesel Orion I also have!
Excellent for carting around a small baby and kids/shopping etc.
