1992 Eagle Talon ESi review from North America
"If the price is right, so is the car"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
My engine seized at 169,000 kilometers, but this was due to a problem with the oil pump and oil pump gauge. There was no oil pressure in the engine, but the gauge was reading pressure. I spent $3900.00 Canadian for the new engine and a new clutch.
Other than that, the problems have all been minor and I feel that this is a great car. Just wish I had known about the gauge before it was too late. Oh well.
2nd gear grinds from time to time, but once you're used to it you find your way around it.
Minor problems with driver's side mirror shorting out half in the upward motion half way up, but only shorts out for a second.
General comments?
All in all, I would say it's a great car. Very fast for a non-turbo also. Surprised me a lot. Beat Honda's right off the road.
