1991 Plymouth Sundance Highline 2-Dr review from North America
"A great car for a student/short-haul commuter"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
Head Gasket replaced at 125,000 miles.
Timing Belt replaced at 110,000 miles.
Water Pump replaced at 95,000 miles.
Radiator replaced at 120,000 miles.
Usual stuff (brakes, tires, mufflers)
General comments?
Absolutely, positively the most reliable car I have ever owned (out of 9 cars from 4 Manufacturers).
Very quiet, comfortable ride for a cheap car.
Adequate, but not great power; fuel economy is good (22 city/33 h'wy).
Considering its econobox heritage (K-Car), handling, steering, and brakes are very good.
Good A/C; Heater is TOO good (will melt you out of your seat!)
You cannot hurt this cars' suspension-Ohio roads can get ROUGH in the winter, and it never seems to get out of alignment.
