1983 Holden Commodore VH SL/E review from Australia and New Zealand
"Damn quick, damn unreliable, I love it"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
Bent axle
Blown diff due to bent axle
Blown gear box due to replacement diff
Snapped tail shaft
Bad oil leaks
Replaced all 4 shockers twice
General comments?
Despite being unreliable, the car manages to maintain high levels of performance, especially down the quarter mile.
It handles like a dream, and nothing would have gone wrong with it if it wasn't for the axle bending, I took it over some "skid pads" and off-road terrain.
