1987 BMW 3 Series review from Australia and New Zealand
"Price is big, but so is grunt... as they say, I have unleashed the beast in my beemer!!!"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
Not a lot, I had the engine re-built, blueprinted, balanced, tuned and fitted with lots of modified parts when I first got the car so there was basically very few old parts on the car to give me trouble (mechanically speaking)
General comments?
The car is a gem to drive, the turbo is fantastic, it runs like a rocket, drinks a bit of fuel, but that's OK as it has lots of grunt.
The car has all race parts as said above including the engine being re-done totally from the ground up, power chip, new exhaust system (modified one), 17" alloy wheels, Pirelli rubber (brilliant stuff), strong brakes, re-spray in hot red, stripped of back seats (less weight) + much, much more... to much to list, this car is just a beast of a car to own and to drive.
