1997 Jeep Wrangler Sport review from North America
"Very good vehicle"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
Nothing!
General comments?
If you know about cars and like tinkering with your automobile, a Jeep (now Chrysler owned - not AMC like what I grew up with) is for you.
I bought my car used. After looking under the hood, I realized that this vehicle had been taken care of by its previous owner. After changing the oil (watch out for dealerships - they are lax on oil changes) and the sparkplugs, she is a humming. I got a great deal and have had NO problem. Honestly, I was a bit surprised being that I moved from a 'reliable' Honda Prelude to an American-made Jeep, that Chrysler did so well on this year (I heard 2000 and 1995 models are not worth the effort). Buy a 1997, 2 thumbs up!
