1996 Pontiac Grand Prix GT Coupe review from North America
"A high performance gem, with lots of toys to love, it is truly a sweet car"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
Some guy backed into one of my mirrors.
General comments?
This car has aggressive looks and styling that make it look like it's going fast when it's sitting in my driveway. The clear-coat dark cherry red paint job gleams in the sunlight after a nice wash. The ground effects package that I have with the dual exhaust outlets and the 16-inch gold hunyycomb wheels make it look like a real race car.
The 3.1 twin-cam V6 with the high-flow exhaust has superb power and pick up at stoplights and when going 70 MPH or more on the highway. The car doesn't shake at high speeds it feels like I am driving on a bed of pillows.
The interior styling with the power 2-way sunroof and the red-orange backlit Pontiac tradmark display make it feel like I am not driving any run of the mill car. the seats are super comftorable and support my tall body well.
