1994 Mercury Cougar XR7 review from North America
"Sporty, Fast, Comfortable"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
Good, Very Strong running car for the most part. Leather interior started on front drivers seat is tearing. Also the headliner is coming down. Bad choice putting plastic headlights in the car, they fog up reducing light visibility. The Transmission should have been recalled. Transmission shifts erratically, also had it rebuilt at 80,000 miles. Other than that, it still runs very quick (will even keep up with Mustang GT) even with over 100,000 miles on her!!! Overall, very agile, fast, comfortable, and sporty and luxurious. Not bad.
General comments?
Very, Very Fast!!! Even though Ford Motor Company detuned it to shut off at 100 mph, it could go much faster. Very good kick down and passing power.
