1994 Dodge Intrepid ES review from North America
"An eye-catcher, yet a repairman's dream"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
The Air Bags were out when I bought the car.
Automatic seats work only when they want to.
Air conditioner went out, just as I have heard most models made this year have done.
There also seems to be a short in the A/C controls... haven't had this looked at yet.
Headlight adjuster bars broke so that headlights shake while driving & one headlight fell completely off.
Had to replace both hood mounts.
Was having major braking problems, stopping slowly caused car to jerk tremendously (like I was getting rear-ended every time I stopped). I took the car into several places with no answer as to why it was doing this... Eventually the problem went away.
Oil leakage is a major problem!
Seals on doors are coming off.
General comments?
This car is super fast & I love my leather seats! But It has a lot of major problems. If you don't have the money or time to do the work yourself, don't buy the car. Chrystler really needs to do a recall on the A/C systems in this vehicle!
