2002 Jeep Wrangler SE review from North America
"Absolutely the most fun you can have in any weather"
General comments?
It is a great around town car, easy to park, and acceleration is surprisingly lively due to its torquey engine.
I have read that the soft tops are very loud, however the only comment I have received from passengers is "I thought it would be much louder than this". This is most likely due to the top being redesigned a couple of years ago.
For a truck it handles almost like a sports car. It has tight quick-ratio steering and limited body lean.
Driving my Jeep with the top off in the spring or summer gives me the feeling of being on a never ending vacation. And, like all Jeeps, it absolutely shines when the temps drop and the rain turns to ice, snow, or sleet.
It would not be a Jeep if it was not one of the most off-road capable, straight from the factory vehicles made.
