1990 Daihatsu Cuore review from Germany
"Shoe-box racer"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
The outer CV-joint rubber boots were worn when I got the car.
The driver's door hinges were worn out.
General comments?
Although all my friends laugh at me, I love those shoe-boxes.
The design is very simple, but gives a good sight in any direction.
It handles like a racer, you can throw it around corners nearly like a bike.
Comfort is better than in other cars in that price range, less equipment means less weight and less (electrical) faults.
