1982 Ford Escort review from North America
"Crude and mean, but reliable"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
Few problems. It ran and ran and ran.
General comments?
This was the most basic Escort:
Manual brakes wouldn't stop a mountain bike.
Interior plastic unbearably cheap.
Non-reclining front seats.
Horn activated by turn-signal stalk!
Bouncy suspension.
Gnashy transmission.
