2002 Dodge Intrepid SE review from North America
"The Second Nightmare From Dodge!"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
Well, I thought the last one was just a lemon and couldn't imagine being stuck with another that is a brand new 2002. It is amazing that this one is also a lemon with some similar issues. I am disappointed and cannot believe it. Steering issues, ABS has failed. Dealer service is usually terrible. I have had 3 alignments, 1 independently and 2 by the dealer and the vehicle still will not drive straight. Sometimes the steering will make the vehicle wobble and swerve when moving the wheel back and fourth and sometimes it has play and is not very responsive. I am extremely frustrated.
There is way too much to list and explain. For a complete explanation please visit my Intrepid problems site at http://intrepid.clan-510.org to hear about more.
General comments?
Great looking vehicle, 2.7L still has some power and pretty good performance at certain speeds. Vehicle's brakes seem to work well when there is not a problem and vehicle handles well for a large vehicle prior to steering issues. I believe the vehicle should hold up better than this.
